Bear Valley Timber Ltd is a small professional team delivering a range of high quality commercial tree services

Bear Valley Timber Ltd is a rapidly growing tree surgery company based in Northamptonshire. We undertake a full range of arboriculture tree work operations including tree planting, tree pruning and tree felling (including sectional felling). We also offer other services including stump grinding, cable bracing (of weak tree structures) and air spading (to excavate near trees / relieve compaction).  We offer a wide range of services from domestic through to commercial including highways, rail and construction.

We have been operating since 2018 and specialise in servicing the domestic and commercial sectors of the industry. We are one of the leading tree care and maintenance companies in Northamptonshire serving businesses and local residents.  Our team of experienced arborists, climbers and ground staff work together on a variety of projects and have the required expertise to carry out any type of tree work. . We aim to provide a high quality service to keep your trees and landscape well maintained. We are fully committed to health & safety and all our staff and sub-contractors are fully qualified and experienced in the operations they undertake. We undertake refresher / update training on a regular basis to ensure all our staff are kept up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies. We are fully insured and public and employers liability cover.

Our Team

All of our employees hold current CSCS/CPCS cards, highways passports and site safety medicals. They hold qualifications in all areas of tree work and clearance undertaken and hold NPTC or LANTRA qualifications in each relevant competence.

We have fully trained staff in a range of competencies from strimmer op, chainsaw ops, climbers and SSSTS as well as machinery operators for our mechanised fleet which includes  MEWPs, excavators and tractors with additional training for our specialist equipment. We are fully committed to health & safety and all our staff and sub-contractors are fully qualified and experienced in the operations they undertake. We undertake refresher / update training on a regular basis to ensure all our staff are kept up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies.

Equipment

CASE STUDY: Client – Chevron

Location – Thetford

Client requested work over 6 areas along the boundary of the A1 in Thetford. The spec included cutting of grassland using a flail or robo cut to a specified height of between 25-50mm. Additional areas were to be curated as bare earth through close mowing. All cuttings were to be collected and deposited off site at an agreed location. Specific equipment required – Compact Tractor with grass collector / Robo flail and strimmers. Team required to supply a SSSTS plus machine op and 2 strimmer operatives. All kit/vehicles and equipment to be highways compliant.

We want to be transparent with our costs for all contracts completed and if there is an opportunity to reduce expenditure we will take this into account. All work was completed within the specified time frame, we completed the works on time and underbudget reducing the cost to the client by approx. 32%.
